New York Cruises

For discounted cruises that depart from this port, click here.

The New York City area has three cruise terminals: One on the west side of Manhattan, one in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, and a third in Bayonne, NJ, just across the bay from Red Hook.

Caribbean cruises are offered year-round from all three ports, as are sailings to the scenic coastal cities and towns of New England and Canada in summer and fall. Bahamas itineraries are available most of the year from Manhattan, and Bermuda cruises depart from Bayonne spring through fall.

Repositioning cruises from Manhattan head for the Mediterranean, the Panama Canal and to southern U.S. ports. The Brooklyn pier is the departure point for Cunard's six-day trans-Atlantic crossings aboard the Queen Mary 2, available from spring through fall.

By car, New York is within four hours of Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Providence, RI; New Haven and Hartford, CT; Trenton, NJ; and Baltimore, MD. New York has two major rail stations -- Penn Station, which serves Amtrak, the Long Island Railroad and New Jersey Transit, and Grand Central Terminal, which serves commuter lines that operate in the suburbs of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
